Position title | CEO Norway
Our client, Sortbat Group, is strengthening its Norwegian activities and is looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Norway to take full executive ownership of the local entity. In this role you will set the strategic direction, drive commercial growth and act as the key external representative towards customers, partners, authorities and the broader Group ecosystem. You will work in close alignment with the Sortbat Group CEO and the Group leadership team and you will operate with a local governance set-up including a Board of Directors.

Key attributes and experience
- Strong track record in commercial leadership and business development.
- Experience in industrial, energy, recycling and/or regulated environments.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate as the face of the business in a complex stakeholder landscape.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; comfortable in a matrix organisation.
- Fluent in English; Norwegian is a strong asset.

Matrix Governance Context
The Norwegian entity operates under a matrix organizational structure. While the CEO Norway has full local executive authority, other C-level executives report directly to the CEO Norway and maintain functional (dotted-line) reporting relationships with their respective Group-level counterparts.
The role
As CEO Norway, you hold full executive authority for the Norwegian entity, combining strategic leadership with hands-on commercial development. You translate Group ambition into a clear local roadmap, align growth priorities with operational feasibility and lead the local management team within a matrix governance context (with functional dotted-line links to Group-level counterparts).

- Driving commercial growth and strategic positioning
- Ensuring overall performance of the Norwegian entity
- Aligning local strategy with Sortbat Group objectives
- Coordinating and leading the local management team
